President Donald Trump posted a baffling tweet on Tuesday declaring that he has not had a collection of “mini-strokes”— and had the White Home doctor launch a press release backing up his declare.
“It by no means ends! Now they’re attempting to say that your favourite President, me, went to Walter Reed Medical Heart, having suffered a collection of mini-strokes. By no means occurred to THIS candidate – FAKE NEWS,” Trump tweeted.
The tweet was adopted hours later by a press release from White Home doctor Sean Conley, who mentioned he was talking out at Trump’s request. “I can affirm that President Trump has not skilled nor been evaluated for a cerebrovascular accident (stroke), transient ischemic assault (mini stroke), or any acute cardiovascular emergencies, as have been incorrectly reported within the media,” Conley mentioned.
No main media outlet seems to have reported in current days that Trump had a collection of mini-strokes.
A White Home aide advised NBC Information that Trump was referring to a tweet from former President Invoice Clinton’s former press secretary Joe Lockhart, who requested in a tweet Monday if Trump had “a stroke which he’s hiding from the American public.” Lockhart didn’t point out “mini-strokes.”
